Before your call

You're booked. Now let's make your 20 minutes count.

After booking, you'll receive a text message with a secure link to a short preparation questionnaire. The additional information helps us review your situation before the appointment so we can spend our time answering YOUR questions rather than starting from scratch.

A few minutes with your nurses

Joel Nual, RN and Nurse Dasha Nual, LPN — the nurse couple behind The Insurance Nurses

The walkthrough is being recorded now.

It will appear here shortly. Everything it covers is written out below, so you're not waiting on it.

What we'll cover, the coverage types in plain English, and the handful of things worth having nearby.

What the video covers

Three things, and then we talk.

  1. 01

    The steps from here

Where you are in the process, what we do between now and your call, and what happens after it if you decide to move forward. No surprises, no extra appointments.

  2. 02

The kinds of coverage, in plain English

Term covers a set number of years and is usually the least expensive way to protect a mortgage or growing kids. Whole life lasts for life and builds cash value, which suits people who want something permanent. Final expense is a smaller policy aimed squarely at funeral and burial costs, and it's often the simplest to qualify for.

  3. 03

What will and won't happen on the call

We'll go over real numbers from real carriers and answer whatever you ask. We won't push you toward a decision, and nothing is signed on the spot. If the answer is that you don't need us right now, you'll hear that too.

Have these handy

Five small things that save us both time.

Approximate is fine. If you don't have something, we'll sort it out live.

  • Your date of birth, and a rough height and weight.
  • Any medications you take and conditions you're managing.
  • Your current policy, if you have one — the amount and monthly cost is plenty.
  • Who you want protected, and roughly what you'd want them to have.
  • A quiet ten minutes and decent phone reception.
So we're not wasting your time

The housekeeping, up front.

  • The call runs 20 minutes and starts at the time you picked.
  • It's Joel or Dasha on the line — not a call center, not a script.
  • No one from our office will call you before your slot.
  • You'll get actual quotes and how they were reached, not a pitch.
  • Need to move it? One reply or one text and it's rescheduled.

Questions before then?

Call or text us — a nurse reads every message. Nothing about your appointment obligates you to anything.
