The Insurance Nurses is a nurse-owned, licensed life insurance agency. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect through this website and our forms, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
We collect your contact details (name, phone number, email address and state) and your appointment details (the times you book, whether you prefer phone or video, and your language). If you choose to complete our questionnaire, we also collect health, work, income and coverage information. That information is used only to request life insurance quotes for you. We also collect basic technical information such as pages viewed and referring links.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and hold your appointments, prepare quotes, and contact you about your request. Insurance applications you choose to submit are shared with the insurance companies you apply to so they can review that application.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and we use Meta's advertising tools to understand which of our ads bring people to this site. When you submit our booking form or book a call, our server also tells Meta that a request or booking happened, along with the same browser identifiers Meta's own tool sees (your IP address, browser type and Meta's cookie IDs). We do not send your name, email address, phone number, appointment time or booking links to Meta. We never send your health information, medications, height, weight, income, or any answer from our quote questions to Meta or to any advertising platform. That information is used only to prepare your quote and is shared only with the insurance carriers you choose to apply to. You can limit ad tracking through your Facebook ad settings, your browser's privacy settings, or your device settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we don't load Meta's tool or send Meta these booking signals. Doing so will not affect your ability to use this site or to get a quote from us.
SMS and mobile opt-in
If you agree to texts, The Insurance Nurses may send appointment confirmations and reminders to the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We never sell your information
We never sell your information. We share it only with insurance companies, and with licensed agents we work with when you ask us to, to obtain quotes and coverage. Service providers that help us run this website, email and text messaging may process it for us, but they cannot use it for their own purposes. We use encrypted connections, and access to your information is limited to our licensed staff, who must sign in with two-factor verification. We keep your details only as long as we need them to serve you or as insurance recordkeeping rules require.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How long we keep your information
We keep your contact information for as long as we are working with you, and afterward as required by insurance recordkeeping rules. If you gave us health information for a quote and did not go on to apply for a policy, we delete those health answers after 24 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time using the contact details below.
