The Insurance Nurses is a nurse-owned, licensed life insurance agency. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, our chat widget, and our forms, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
When you use our chat widget, contact form, or the Start Here questionnaire, we collect the information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the state you live in, the type of coverage you are interested in, and general health questions you choose to answer. We also collect basic technical information such as pages viewed and referring links.
How we use your information
We use your information only to respond to you, prepare accurate life insurance quotes, schedule your consultation, and send you the messages you asked for. Insurance applications you choose to submit are shared with the insurance carriers you apply to, for the purpose of underwriting that application.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and we use Meta's advertising tools to understand which of our ads bring people to this site. When you submit a form, we send Meta a securely scrambled (hashed) version of your name, email address, phone number, and state, so Meta can tell us that an ad worked — without us handing over your details in readable form. We never send your health information, medications, height, weight, income, or any answer from our quote questions to Meta or to any advertising platform. That information is used only to prepare your quote and is shared only with the insurance carriers you choose to apply to. You can limit ad tracking through your Facebook ad settings, your browser's privacy settings, or your device settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to use this site or to get a quote from us.
SMS and mobile opt-in
If you check the consent box, you agree to receive calls and text messages from The Insurance Nurses at the phone number you provide, including messages sent by automated means, about your life insurance request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile data
No mobile information, phone number, or SMS consent will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with the insurance carriers you apply to, and with service providers who help us operate this website and our messaging, and who are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to correct or delete your information, or stop contacting you altogether, by calling or emailing us using the details below. We honor those requests promptly.
How we protect your information
We limit access to your information to the licensed agents who are helping you, use encrypted connections on this website, and keep your details only as long as we need them to serve you or as required by insurance recordkeeping rules.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
How long we keep your information
We keep your contact information for as long as we are working with you, and afterward as required by insurance recordkeeping rules. If you gave us health information for a quote and did not go on to apply for a policy, we delete those health answers after 24 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time using the contact details below.
